What is Magnesium Alloys?
Magnesium alloy is magnesium as the main component, while adding other elements of the alloy, its density is low(1.8g/cm3), is 2/3 of aluminum, is 1/4 of iron. Melting point is 650 degree. High strength, good rigidity, good thermal dissipation, good shock absorption, good corrosion resistance of organic and alkali, magnesium alloy because of the filling of other elements, so the flammability is lower than magnesium. Now on the market magnesium alloy, mainly divided into three categories, magnesium-aluminum alloy, magnesium-manganese alloy and magnesium-zinc alloy.
